Introduction

Machina Mod is the personal collection of modifications for the Mac OS operating system made by Comie Prevette. The Macintosh community has always been known for its creativity and for pushing forward with customizing the graphical user interface to create a truly unique experience suited to the user's personal tastes. The different tabs above denote the various forms of customization for your Mac. Themes are Shapeshifter guiKit overlays that changes the entire look of your Mac. Icons are custom made images used to represent files and folders on your computer. Desktops are large background pictures that you see when nothing is covering your desktop. The Cellular section is actually not Mac-specific, but Mac users can utilize them - they are goodies for your cell phone, such as graphics and ringtones. The My Machina section tells you about my computers and setups and if you need help or an outlet to another site, Links and Help will take you there. Feel free to peruse the site and send comments, bug reports, and questions!

What's New?

06/01/2005 - iMac Xtreme 2005 has been released!
- Added Tangerine, Lime, Blueberry, and Grape variants.
- Removed AppSkins for now. Until ThemePark is updated with the most current resources for AppSkins, these will be removed.
- Added desktop pictures extras.
- Changed Preview images and descriptions.
- Updated all Strawberry Theme elements to match the new variants.
- Themed Docks for all 5 variants.
- Optimized Finder resources for Tiger.
- Changed Metal Window design.
- Various other fixes and updates for cosmetic reasons.

Known Bugs:
- Spotlight resources not currently themed.
- See above for AppSkin removal.
- MenuExtras not currently themed.
- Some backgrounds not themed correctly; this is a Shapeshifter bug, not a theme bug.
- Some text colors not properly themed; also a Shapeshifter bug, not a theme bug.
- As soon as Shapeshifter and Theme Park have been fully updated for all new Tiger features and resources, iMac Xtreme 2005 will be updated to accomodate the new items.
